AbstractThe atmosphere is in constant interaction with the terrestrial biosphere, forming a coupled system. This interaction plays a fundamental role in the climate system and hydrological and biogeochemical cycles, through the exchange of energy of mass (eg water and carbon) between the terrestrial vegetation and the atmospheric boundary layer. Aiming to understand and anticipate these changes and their influence on the climate system, the main focus of many studies of surface-atmosphere interaction is to quantify the surface fluxes on various terrestrial biomes. With this motivation, this paper presents a software tool developed to test a prototype of environmental sensors in an experimental area of rainforest in the Amazon.
